For all those that have asked, the answer to both questions is a resounding YES! In fact, Persil detergent in typically recommended for use in high efficiency, front load washers, and for good reason. Commonly sold in Australia and Asia, this form of Persil give you the same super stain fighting and cleaning powers of standard Persil detergent, but specifically formulated for top loading washing machines.
